Kashi Company, La Jolla, CA, has introduced Kashi Granola, a cereal that features an all-natural blend of fruits, nuts and seven whole grains. Kashi’s Mountain Medley offers sundried cranberries and raisins, crunchy almonds, pecans and whole sunflower seeds, and a pinch of coconut. The Orchard Spice variety includes apples, spices, pecans, raisins and whole flax seeds. Each serving of Kashi Granola delivers 300 mg of ALA (alpha linolenic acid) omega 3; it also provides an excellent source of fiber and over two full servings of whole grains.

Kashi has also debuted All-Natural Frozen Pizzas, which feature a stone-fired signature Kashi Seven Whole Grain and Sesame blend crust complemented with flax seeds, providing 260 mg of ALA omega 3 fatty acids. Each serving provides between 4 and 5 grams of fiber, 8 grams of whole grains, and 15 to 19 grams of protein. The new line consists of Five Cheese Tomato, Mediterranean and Roasted Garlic Chicken varieties.
